Description

Solitary, small, cylindrical, in young stages major septa attaining axis, in mature stages septa withdrawing from axis, their axial ends joining somewhat discontinuous aulos, cardinal septum may be shorter than others in more or less distinct fossula, minor septa very short, confined to wall, tabulae distant, flat in broad axial parts, with edge downturned and commonly resting on plate next below, thus forming aulos, periaxial tabellae declined abaxially, sporadic dissepiments in some
