Description

Solitary ?(or fasciculate) with a columella of variable pattern, a median plate is commonly present, connected with long cardinal septum from which one or more short septal lamellae may radiate irregularly, uncommonly, tabellae may form briefly a somewhat more complex axial structure, septa thin, long, but mostly not reaching columella, dissepimentarium wide, of small normal concentric plates, lonsdaleoid plates developing peripherally in places, tabulae of type species imperfectly known [commonly declined adaxially and including clinotabulae, fide Minato & Kato, 1967, p. 314, see Minato & Kato, 1975a, p. 15]
