Description

Solitary, fasciculate or massive, mature corallites large; septa numerous, long, thin and variously withdrawn from axis, smooth or carinate, more or less fringed, carinae short and commonly alternate; fossula inconspicuous, cardinal septum commonly shorter than other major septa; tabularial floors flat or sagging; dissepimentarium wide, dis sepiments numerous, globose and of moderate size [BIRENHEIDE, 1963a, p. 369; JELL & HILL, 1969, p. 4].
