Description
Predominantly solitary, a few species phaceloid or subcerioid with peripheral increase, septa represented by spinelike trabeculae, isolated or in septal combs, commonly based in sclerocones and not extending through successive dissepiments or tabellae, laminar septal segments and peripheral arched crossbar plates not developed, sclerocones more pronounced in early stages and commonly strongest in axial parts, cardinal fossula may be evident as deepening in tabularial floors, nature of ambicounter septal loculi seldom apparent
