Description
Astreoid, thamnasterioid, or aphroid, major and minor septa long, may be discontinuous toward periphery, columella formed by dilatation and upgrowth of axial end of long counter septum, may be mainly absent in diphymorph species, tabulae conical, complete or incomplete, dissepiments small, normal except peripherally in aphroid forms [see HUDSON, 1929, p. 441].
