Description
Corallum slenderly branching, corallites in axial zone of branches longitudinally directed, turning sharply outward into peripheral zone and opening perpendicular to surface, corallites of axial zone very slender, with moderately thick walls in which septal elements are distinguished with difficulty, corallites of peripheral zone of markedly increased diameter, 6 to 13 (commonly 12) septa forming wide irregular stereozone, mural pores sparse, tabulae sparse.
