Description
Colonies laminar. Coenosteum like Actinostroma, but distinguished by horizontal lamellar processes not in regular superposed layers and in having vertical columns formed by considerably thickened, upward converging pillars, and marked on the upper surface by large tubercles. Astrorhizae lacking.
