Description
Large, solitary; septa numerous, major septa of counter quadrants thinner and longer than others; fossula deepening and expanding adaxially, with cardinal and some counter metasepta curving more or less sharply toward it; other metasepta withdrawn somewhat from axis and radial or pinnate and somewhat convex toward long, thin counter septum; dissepimentarium wider in counter quadrants; minor septa withdrawn almost to periphery, leaving inosculating dissepiments; lonsdaleoid dissepiments absent or very sparse; tabulae subhorizontal with downturned edges, complete or with auxiliary tabellae peripherally; floor of fossula may be of small tabellae [see FEDOROWSKI, 1975, p. 31].
